Franklin Pierce

[vc_single_image image=”4706″ img_size=”large”]Hello, all!

We are current students at Franklin Pierce University majoring in Health Science and Public Health. We were selected for the first annual Health Services Expedition scheduled for March 17-24, 2018. This week-long learning service experience has been provided by FNE International, an international organization that provides support to developing countries in the areas of education, healthcare, and housing.

We will become fully immersed in the community through visiting hospitals and health clinics, interacting with k-8 students, and building new clean and efficient stoves. We will stay in the communities we are working in order to better experience Nicaragua’s rich culture.

Our goal at a minimum is to raise sufficient funds to cover the cost of materials needed to build two clean cook stoves. Anything above the minimum amount will be donated to FNE International’s Education Program. We believe nobody should be deprived of proper access to education.

Any donation, big or small, would mean the most to not only us at FPU, but to the families in Nicaragua whose lives would be changed forever. This is a one of a kind opportunity and we are beyond excited to embark on this journey.

Please feel free to contact us at startm@franklinpierce.edu with any questions. Thank you from us all!
